H.P.C Guest Book

I was one of the founder members of Helenburgh Photographic Society, which used to meet in the Clyde Street Community Centre in the late 70s. I wonder if that evolved into HPC or if there's no connection. In those days it was all film, of course, and we managed to get a grant to equip a darkroom so we could do our own processing, and even a bit of tweaking, sheer luxury! Digital has changed all that and what with Photoshop and HDR the sky's the limit nowadays, as a quick look at your gallery confirms. It's good to see photagraphy is still flourishing in Helensburgh.

Just thought I would drop a note to say how much I enjoyed my first time at the club on Tuesday 10th November 2009. After years of stomping the hills in and around Garelochhead armed with my trusty Sony Cybershot,ive taken the plunge,well my long suffering partner Christine has.
She hinted last week that Santa {hangs head in shame yes i believe]might be dropping off my first ever serious camera.Well i have behaved myself this year,and i do think i deserve it.
Anyway if he does im going to need some help in actually getting it to work,and judging by some of the pictures ive just been viewing on this sight,i think you people might just be able to help me out. Richie

Really like the website. Going to the Introduction session tonight. I'm a bit nervous because I don't know anyone there. I'm a beginner but hopefully I will start learning alot and progress in my photography. I have just tried registering as a member on the website but I can't find the option to! See you all soon!
